New Cancellation Policy & Fees

We understand that unplanned issues can come up and you may need to cancel an appointment, however when a patient does not show up for a scheduled appointment, another patient loses an opportunity to be seen.

From Monday 8th November we will be implementing a new Cancellation Policy and fees for non-attendance or failure to give us adequate notice.

You can cancel or change your Coastal Health Medical appointment without incurring any fees, as long as you give us at least two hours notice.

From Monday 8th November, missed or cancelled appointments with less than two hours notice will incur a fee of $20. No part of this fee can be claimed back from Medicare and must be paid prior to booking the next appointment.

Thank you for your understanding and co-operation as we implement this new policy, which will enable us to open otherwise unused appointments to better serve the needs of all patients.
