Repeat Prescriptions

Coastal Health Medical has introduced HotDoc Repeats at both of our practices. This service offers patients the option to request a repeat prescription for a regular medication (e.g. blood pressure medication) from their usual GP without having to make an appointment.

This is a private service that attracts a private fee – $15 per script, or $20 per script for an urgent request.

Please note:

• We cannot prescribe controlled medication including benzodiazepines and opiates through this service (including Panadeine Forte). Requests for this type of medication will be rejected.
• You can only request one regular medication from your usual GP. If your usual GP is not listed on this service your request will be rejected.
