Immunisation

Our clinics offer up-to-date advice and can immunise and vaccinate against a range of diseases and infections including:

  • Childhood
  • Catch up
  • Travel
  • Occupational
  • Influenza
  • Covid-19
  • Whooping Cough
  • Shingrix

Patients eligible for free government vaccines will be bulk billed. Patients who are not eligible will be bulk billed for the doctor’s visit and a private charge for the vaccine will be payable on the day.

Travel Vaccinations

Exposure to infectious diseases, some of which are vaccine preventable, is one of the many health hazards of international travel. If you are travelling overseas, book an appointment with your doctor to check the latest requirements for vaccinations.

Flu Shot

Getting a Flu Shot and/or Covid catch up early in the year and before the height of flu season, can result in a drastically reduced risk of becoming infected and spreading the virus to others.

Whooping Cough

Whooping Cough vaccine is available free of charge for all pregnant women. For others a private fee will be payable on the day.

Shingles

Anyone over the age of 65 years should consider a Shingrix vaccination (especially if they were exposed to Chicken pox at some point in their lifetime).  If you are of First Nation’s origin the vaccine is available free of charge from the age of 50.
